About Killorglin

Killorglin is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Ring of Kerry. Historically founded and developed on the River Laune, which is known for salmon and trout fishing.

Puck Fair

Killorglin is the home of Puck Fair, an ancient festival celebrated in August, where a wild goat is crowned and presides over the three day festival.

For quiet roads and scenic beauty the Caragh Lake circuit with its upland lakes such as Lough Acoose, ancient oak woods and the catholic church at Glencar with unusual stained glass figures are hard to beat.
