Kerry has some of the finest parkland and links courses in the country. Situated in the Reeks District, The Climbers Inn is close to Dooks Links, Beaufort and Killarney Parkland courses in particular.
Each course in Kerry offers varying challenges to players of all skill levels. Waterville, on the west coast of the Iveragh Peninsula, Ballybunion and Tralee in the north of the county, and Ceann Sibéal on the Dingle Peninsula provide unforgettable links golf and are indeed world renowned for the unique challenges they pose. Kenmare and the Ring of Kerry Country Club offer a different parkland challenge, each with unique views of the Kenmare and Ring of Kerry areas.
Killarney Golf Club
In a beautiful setting by the famous Lakes of Killarney, the golf club offers two world famous courses – Kileen and Mahony’s Point. Kileen is the flagship course and hosted the Irish Open in 1991 and 1992. Mahony’s Point is the older course and has perhaps the most famous par-3 18th in golf, almost 200 yards over the lake’s edge.
